Spacemouse axes cannot be controlled on M3 + Parallels + Windows 11

Post by dakalino »

Spacemouse axes cannot be controlled on M3 + Parallels + Windows 11.

I have tried about 10 different versions of the Windows 64 bit drivers.

I am stuck with the default rotation settings. Also, certain buttons do not work - like the fit button.

This is for Spacemouse Pro wired, Pro BT wireless, and basic wireless.

Can someone please help me?

I have tried many things:
- Using the 3DConnexion home to Reverse direction
- Installing older software versions of driver
- Stopping and Starting 3Dconnexion/3DxWare service
- Rebooting after any changes
- Crawled all over the Internet looking for a solution

I managed to get my wired Spacemouse Pro to work - I can spin objects around in Siemens NX.

BUT I cannot get directions to reverse or the programmable keys to work. I have 10 years of memory muscle and need to reverse the rotation directions. The programmable keys are also very helpful in Siemens NX.

I also managed to get my wireless Spacemouse regular/small to work over wire - I can also spin objects around in Siemens NX. But same problem.

Please help! Thank you!

Which drivers have you tried?

3D connexion couldn't be bothered to support ARM based windows any longer so they gave up on a good chunk of the community running win11 via parallels on Mac.

I solved it with the 10.6.4 driver as seen in my post here:
