After long period of trying to find why my rotation and selection in solid edge is very delayed (only when rotating with 3d controller) and with various graphical glitches.
I've managed to track it down to the 3d connexion driver - at that point i was at 10.9.3 (i've tried beta 10.9.4- but not all was repaired).
So i've installed 10.8.9 - and all the issues disappeared - this is why it lead me to believe it was the driver issue in some sort.
PROBLEM IS - every time i restart machine for end of day work, and come and login next day - driver is updated on it's own to 10.9.3 - all the options for check updates etc are unticked - and even selected not to install.
But every next day driver is always installed to latest - so i have to uninstall and reinstall old one.
I've checked with our IT - there is no policy or anything for this software to push for update etc.
I even tried and only lock my login but not logged out - and still driver got updated overnight.
Does anyone have similar problem - and managed to tracked it down what is happening.
Thanks
Driver updating on it's own.

3Dconnexion here. Our drivers do not automatically update.wojciech.p wrote: ↑Wed Apr 02, 2025 12:20 am PROBLEM IS - every time i restart machine for end of day work, and come and login next day - driver is updated on it's own to 10.9.3 - all the options for check updates etc are unticked - and even selected not to install.
The driver has a feature to notify when a new version is available but the user always needs to download and install the software. Additionally, the driver requires administrator privileges to install.
