FYI: SpaceNavigator (2009) with SketchUp 2017 on Sequoia

Post by tinbert »

Well,
it's a rather weird combination of old soft- and hardware, however it still worked - until something broke my beloved workflow.
Fusion 360 was no problem, but Sketchup 2017 did no longer recognized the SpaceNavigator ("Personal Edition 3D Maus").

After many trials I uninstalled the current driver (3DxWareMac 10.8) and went back to 10.7 - and I'm happy again.

Just in case you're looking for this combination: Sketchup 2017 on macOS 15 Sequoia :D

Sometimes installing two software at the same time will cause conflicts with each other. Deleting one of the two versions is necessary.

Thanks for sharing this information. I believe we no longer test SketchUp version 2017 and it is interesting to see such a old application version still operational on a recent OS.
