It has been reported on the SketchUp public forum that Space Mouse users on Mac are seeing steady and unbounded growth of memory usage while using the Space Mouse to navigate a model. In some cases it has caused so much growth that the system has crashed!
I have not had a crash (yet) but if I open a model on the latest release of SketchUp 2025 (225.0.633) and simply navigate it without doing anything else, I too see a slow but steady growth in memory usage. The growth slows greatly or perhaps stops if I let SketchUp sit idle, then starts again when I resume using the Space Mouse (mine is actually an old usb-wired Space Navigator, but it still works fine). Growth also slows or stops if I turn off the Center of Rotation overlay (as a side issue, I find it very annoying that this overlay turns itself back on for every model).
I am running macOS 15.4.1 Sequoia on a 2019 16" MacBook Pro. The installed 3DConnexion driver is 10.8.7 (3836). 3DxMacCore is 1.3.7.529 (529). The SN firmware is 4.3.6. The 3DXSketchup extension version is 5.7.1.

Have you reported the issue in SketchUp to the Trimble team?

Sorry for the slow reply, I hadn't visited this forum for a while.
Yes. Multiple users on the SketchUp forum reported this issue and the SketchUp team are aware of it. Last I checked, they don't think it is their fault.
