Currently, the SpaceMouse NDOF input only functions in C4D inside of 3D viewports.
It would be great if the various node graphs (materials, scene nodes, particle node modifier, XPresso, etc) in C4D supported NDOF input from SpaceMouse, similar to the Blender implementation- which is fantastic! This would alleviate a lot of keyboard punching & wrist flicking when panning/zooming in the UI as a whole.
Right now, no matter what panel we are focused on, the SpaceMouse always provides input to the last active/clicked 3D viewport. This would have to change slightly, so the focus could also be on node graph panels/windows.

Ok, I can do that.
Just out of curiosity, who usually writes the plugin? The third party, 3Dconnexion, or a combination of both?

That page looks to predate this article which shows that the driver is maintained by 3Dconnexion
https://support.maxon.net/hc/en-us/arti ... 3-2-and-up
So, it looks like I should be contacting 3Dconnexion?

Unfortunately, as the FAQ mentioned, the native 3DConnexion has been removed and support for these tools will now be handled entirely by 3DConnexion. If you need support on the products, however please contact 3DConnexion directly, here's their Support Link for you.
Apologize again for this situation,
Thank you very much for your understanding.
