Rhino 8, Drone Mode, Motion relative to C-Plane?

Post by Bobson1729 »

Hello. Just got my Space Mouse Compact and it is awesome. Drone Mode is the most intuitive for me, but the horizon seems to be attached to the world view and not the C-Plane. Is there a setting somewhere I am missing? Horizon-lock doesn't affect this.

Thank you!

In Rhino, create preset views based on the C-Plane and assign them to keys or buttons on the SpaceMouse.

There are navigation modi available for your SpaceMouse in your Rhino application : 3Dconnexion Settings panel > Advanced Settings.

Is Object Mode a convenient way to navigate for you, as well? I like the helicopter mode (drone mode), that is an intuitive way of moving around.
