click-hold and drag is releasing / "unclicking" while button is still held down

As the title suggests, the mouse is releasing clicks while the button is still held down.

In other words, when you drag and drop something, the mouse randomly drops it.

The short term fix is to click really hard on that main button. This doesn't last though and is almost certainly not good for the parts inside.

Has anyone else experienced this and been able to fix?

Love the mouse otherwise, would hate to lose it over what I imagine is just routine wear and tear.

This is the cadmouse pro wireless lefty version fwiw.
