Rotation option becomes unchecked in Revit

Every time I open a 3d Perspective View the rotation option in 3dconnexion settings become unchecked. I open settig and check it, click back to Revit and - boom - it is unchecked again. I have to open a Orthographic 3dview, check it and it *might* stay checked if I then switch back to the Perspective 3d View.

Please fix. What do you need to reproduce?

I have also been fighting this for years. My workaround was to assign one of the side keys to activate rotation. That way when revit drops it out i can turn it back on with one click.
