I am running an M4 Mac mini and have not had problems with my Space mouse until I updated my Mac to OS26.1. Now I get the following message when trying to reload the 3DConnexion software: "A previous installation of 3DWare was found in a corrupted state. This installer cannot continue".
I have followed the instruction on the Knowledge Base: "Installation Stuck Mac OS". But this doesn't work. I can't find the extension they speak of so I can't delete it. I have tried calling 3DConnexcion's help line, but it seems that no one is home. Just a voice saying try again later. Can anyone suggest a solution to my problem, please.

Hi gbecket,
Please show your terminal output from command systemextensionsctl list.
But I strongly recommend contact the support.

Re: Installing software for Spacemouse using OS26.1
Thank you. I did contact support for the space mouse and they were really helpful. They sent me a list of instructions on how to delete the corrupted extension after first disabling SIP. Having deleted the extension, I reinstalled the mouse software with no difficulties, re-enabled the SIP and, I have to say, the mouse has never worked better. I use the mouse mainly for Fusion 360 (CAD). 3Dconnexion support actually reply to emails very fast, and offer real help. This is wonderful!

Hi,
In my case installation of the software was successful, however I can't see "Driver Extensions" in the "login Items & Extensions" that I was instructed to enable. This is new installation BTW.
In your case do you see the "Driver Extensions" in the "login Items & Extensions"?
I have several people that have the same problem as mine.
Thanks.
