Hi all, Second Life user here, got a 3D Space Navigator for my SL experience and it's fantastic already.
One question, there seem quite delicate devices, how long do they last? Are they easy to break? I'm a bit scared twisting it and stuff, is that normal?
I got the circle compact mouse, wired with the metal bottom, quite heavy, feels amazing.

The driver support for SpaceNavigator lasted for more than 17 years, the hardware itself can last fairly quite a long period of time, probably more than 10 years.

I'm still using my Space Navigator that i got in 2007. I do take reasonable care of it though. Not as if I'm tossing it around the room or anything!
Aside from the "soft touch" going dodgy, its been good. I'll get around to fixing that one day.

I also still use a Space Navigator from when it came out. 2007? Almost 20 years ago.
Accurate and reliable as in the first time. Also, the coating is still intact.
