CadMouse Middle Button Swap Not Working

I have been using the CadMouse Pro Wireless for a few years now and just today it decided to break. After messing with some connectivity issues, switching between bluetooth and wired connections, the right mouse button has reverted to the default button. My settings are still set to swap the middle and right mouse button. I've reinstalled drivers and restarted the PC, but it doesn't help. I'm going to try replacing my USB cable next since that has been having issues. The Bluetooth connection is slow and choppy too. If I can get a new cable and get this button swap setting to work again, I think I'm good. Any ideas why the button swap setting has stopped working?
