The 3Dconnexion driver software background applications (3DxVirtualLCD.exe and 3DxSmartUI.exe) are crashing upon startup

Windows 11 Intel and Nvidia

Both error dialogs show an unhandled exception involving RPC_E_SERVERFAULT (0x80010105) while trying to instantiate a COM component ({A4231B76-79DD-4E1E-84EB-5684D74768E6}). This indicates that a background service or driver process expected by the 3Dconnexion software failed to initialize or crashed unexpectedly.

ANy help will be welcome, of course I will reinstall but this is the second time it happens.
