Mouse speed

Could it be possible to customise the mouse speed, depending on application. For example, some drawing work might require some very slow mouse speed while other function a must faster. If a customisation would be available, we would not need to keep on adjusting manually...

3DxWare allows creating application specific profiles in the settings where you can adjust the speed for each app individually. Have you tried setting up custom profiles for your drawing software yet?
