SpaceMouse Compact auto-pivot on 3DsMax

My SpaceMouse Compact has sometimes an incorrect orbiting pivot in 3DsMax 2024. It happens during work, when at some point its auto-pivot just freezes and won't change regardless of my SpaceMouse 'Rotation Center' settings. It just sets its center somewhere in the scene and doesn't change until the program restarts.

I forgot to mention I'm on 3DxWare 10.9.14.745. I am now more closely observing the pivot behavior to exclude any personal error on my side.
