Autocad zoom issue

I'm having a slight problem with the SpaceNavigator in Autocad 2008.
When I'm zooming in on an object, the navigator somehow reaches
an maximum zoom level, but if I try with the scrollbutton on my mouse, it
is able to continue zooming... However, if I then try continuing zooming
with the spacenavigator, It pops back to the "maximum" zoom level...
Slightly anoying when working with small objects...

Is this a general issue, or is it something i'm doing wrong?

Please send a screenshot or video of the situation when you are unable to zoom further to the EMail-adress you will find in your forum's inbox.
