Help,Rotation on only 1 axis at a time, Solidworks 2008...

I'm using Solidworks 2008 SP3.1 with the 3D SpaceExplorer, and i'm only able to rotate my models on one axis at a time (Part and Assembly modes).
I've seen demonstration videos which show a model's pitch and roll being adjusted simultaneously. Does anyone know how to enable this?
It's the only thing holding me back from fully embracing the 3D Explorer, as i'm able to rotate on more than one axis using the mouse wheel rotation function. Please help...

Nevermind, i'm seeing the functionaliy of the "Dominant" variable for the first time with clear baby eyes.
