Robert

Additional Information.
Autocad crashes more frequently after the initial crash.

I recall from past experience using Catia (not AutoCAD) that a crash file was created when the system crashed taking up a lot of space of the virtual memory and we needed to delete this file to return to normal functionality.

As this problem takes a few hours to occur in the first instance then increases the rate of crashes after the initial crash is it possible that the program is storing a large warm start file somewhere restricting the virtual memory.

If so where might I find this file

Robert,

same thing again, now with all new drivers, Acad09 update2, Vista SP1 even loading a model and zooming/turning/tilting it abruptly for a few seconds, I get a crash.
Could you send me via PM your details so that I can post the minidump?

Cheers
