How to program Navigator PE buttons

I'm baffled by the absence of user manuals on-lione, Googled, or whatever on how to use the programmable buttons on the Spacenavigator PE 3-D mouse!

What supported Application are you using?
There are help files in the driver.
Click start/ programs/3DConnexion/3DConnexion3dxware/
Documentation/Online Help
Button mapping instructuions are under Button Configuration.

If your mappings buttons from one of our Applications that has a plugin you map the buttons from the Toolbar in the application.
If the Application is natively supported(no plugin) you map it using the 3DControl panel.
