SolidWorks Student Design Kit on Vista 64bit

So I have all of the files for the Student Design Kit that came with my book for one of my engineering courses, but I currently have Vista 64bit on my lenovo T61p. Whenever I try to install the kit it says that windows vista x64 is not a supported operating system. Im assuming that its not lying to me but is there any way around having to install a new OS?

It sounds like you have a Solidworks version that isnt supported on Vista.
Contact Solidworks to see if they have a student version thats compatible.
