If all you can afford/justify is a Navigator but have looked at the Explorer and Pilot with envy then how about adding one of these alongside...
Lots of mappable and macro recordable keys and even a display (just need applicable software obviously...)
G13 Advanced Gameboard available from parent company Logitech themselves...

looks funny, i'd stick with my G15,
it has "G keys" a display, media keys and a option to turn the windows button off!

Aha, guess Logitech must have been thinking the same thing and ended up with the Space Pilot Pro...
