max zoom level in Autocad 2007?

Hi, I can't seem to zoom in enough using the spacenavigator for laptops. I have the most recent version of the 3dconnexion software. My mouse can zoom in "all the way", but when I try to zoom with the navigator, it sticks at around 3:1. Any ideas? Thanks.

What mode are you using, Free, walk or fly.
Try fly or free mode what happens?

Walk, free, fly doesn't make a difference. I'm using autocad in 2D sketch mode. (Why? I prefer the zoom and pan functions of the 3D mouse to my 2D scroll wheel for ergonomic reasons.)

There may be a limitation set for how far in the device can zoom in.
Will have to ask one of the programmers that watches the forum.

Great, thanks for looking into it. Ideally, max zoom level would be a variable that could be set by the user. The default is probably enough for most users, but at our company we have many geometries on the <.001" scale.

I asked if there is a restriction set in the plugin for zooming in, if so can it be edited and how can this be done.

Note from programmers:
Yes, there is a limitation with the zoom in AutoCAD. But this will be fixed in the next release. Please check our website regularly for a driver update.

Awwww, I hope it's updated soon. To compensate for the lack of zoom I've been wearing binoculars at my desk. It's not particularly effective.
