Control Panel Button Configuration for Solidworks 2008

Post by timothyb »

I reset the button configuration for the L and F buttons on my Space Navigator PE but they keep changing on me. Even while I am running solidworks they change back. I assign the "ESC" key to the left button and the "CTRL" key to the right button.

They keep changing and I am not sure why. I have the box checked in the control panel under the options menu to "Automatically Save Configurations". I have changed these button configuration in all configuration and even tried choosing the save as to make sure it is saving these values but they keep changing.

Any help would be appreciated.

When you map the buttons make sure you map in the Solidworks 3dcontrol panel not the 3dcontrol panel
The plugin addin will always overwrite the 3dcontrol panel.

In Solidworks what are the Esc and Ctrl key assigned too?

I did not realize that you could map these keys in solidworks. I found the utility and have remapped the keys. I will see how it goes. Thank you for the help.
