SpacePilot Pro Maya 2009 Hotbox issue

Hello! I just purchased a SpacePilot Pro for use with Maya 2009 under Vista 64. Out of the box the "1" function key on the SPP is configured to "Show Hotbox" - when pressed, the Maya Hotbox briefly flashes on the screen then the current view port is changed, as if I had tapped the space bar rather than held it down to display the Hotbox.

Is there a setting in Maya or the 3Dconnexion button mapper that will make the Hotbox function correctly when the "Show Hotbox" key is pressed?

Hi rbaty,

the problem with the Hotbox is that it shows up as long as you press the button. It will disappear when you release the button. To get button #1 you only have to press shortly. When you press longer you will get the second level of the button: #5.

Thus it might work better when you change the mapping to button #5. Please try it and post your findings here. Thanks.
