SpacePilot PRO - SDK and Applets

Post by Wayoutwilly »

Hello,
I was wondering something about SDK and Applets (concerning SpacePilot PRO) - is it possible to develop new Applets with SDK or is SDK only used to develop navigation "plug-ins" for 3D programs?
For example - could I use SDK to make Applet that would show ID3 tag information on the SpacePilot PRO's screen?

I've read all the information about it and it clearly states that: "The SpacePilot PRO LCD is based on an open software architecture that encourages the development of customized applets."
I am just double checking to see if I misunderstood something.

Tnx in advance

Hi Wayoutwilly,

There are two different SDKs. The Logitech LCD SDK for writing applets for the SpacePilot PRO is installed with 3DxSoftware. It is installed at:

C:\Program Files\Logitech\GamePanel Software\LCD Manager\SDK

The 3Dconnexion SDK for integrating any 3Dx device into your app is available separately on our web site. The required COM server is installed with 3DxSoftware.
