Bis vor ein paar Tagen fiel mein Space Navigator gelegentlich mal aus. WIN XP. Das Icon in der Schnellstartleiste unten rechts weg - das Icon auf dem Desktop reagiert nicht mehr. Das konnte in der Systemsteuerung durch reparieren wieder behoben werden.
Nun geht das aber nicht mehr. Selbst entfernen der 3D software durch Systemsteuerung und Neuinstallation bringt keine Reaktion auf Aufruf des Icons. Bei der Installation kommt keine Fehlermeldung.
Habe beide Versionen also PE und SP 3-7-16 ausprobiert.
Gibt es dazu eine Abhilfe?

Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Netz getrennt halten, während die 1,2-Taste weiterhin gedrückt halten und die Tasten replug in das Gerät 15 Sekunden warten, lassen Sie die 2 Tasten jetzt versuchen, die 3dcontrol Panel, wenn es öffnet sich das Gerät nun anerkannt.
Otherwise unplug the device
hold the 1,2 button down
while holding down the buttons plug the device back into the usb port
wait 15 seconds and release
now try opening the 3dcontrol panel
if it opens your device is now detected successfully.

thanks for your assistance. But I reinstalled the software without the picture viewer and it worked.
Will try your idea next time.
As to automatic translations they are awkward, faulty and at times really incomprehensible. In this case I could have gotten the idea w/o the english version. But that is not always the case.
