Autodesk Inventor 2010 and button assignments

I installed IV 2010 and the button assignments are not working after changing them. When I set back to default the right button will bring up the configure menu. When I set the left button to home (for zoom all) and the right button to make a 'F6' keystroke nothing works. The joystick works fine.

A side note, the custom button assignments for my mouse are also not working. Hmmmm.

In the '3Dconnexion Control Panel', what release version do you have listed in the 'About' Item under the 'Help' Menu?

Which 3Dconnexion device are you using?

Under the 'Options' Menu do you have 'Automatically Save Configurations' checked on?
