Brush Size in Photoshop CS3 - Tried everything?

Hello all, I am using CS3 on Vista 32. While every hotkey mapped on my SpacePilot Pro I cannot get the brush size function to work. I am using an English keyboard with an English PS install.

Both PS and the SPP recognize [ and ] as brush size + and -. I have upped the speed on the SPP to no avail. I have also changed the hotkeys to different keys as well, with no effect. Any ideas?

I was under the impression that the jog dial twist controlled the brush size. I just realized that it's the Roll BUTTON that controls brush size.
