Inventor with SpaceNavigator

Inventor with SpaceNavigator
Suddenly find that the spacenavigator will only work when the focus is on the graphics window. For example, if the constraint dialog box is open you need to click in the graphics window to get the thing to respond. It wasn't like this last time i used the program, I am sure, any one got any advice please?

When you say suddenly, there must have been something you've changed. What version of Inventor were you using? What version of Inventor are you using now? What version of 3DxSoftware were you using before? What version of 3DxSoftware are you using now? Have you changed your operating system?

Inventor version 11, latest 3dconnexion driver 6.7.13, Windows XP.
This has now gone away just as quickly as it arrived!. I am thinking it must be to do with Windows uptates as this is the only thing that chages day to day. I also noticed that the behaviour only occured in the Assembly environment and not in part modelling.
