Button Config lost / Mastercam

I just lost all my defined buttons. A few were macros, a few were just basic changes like switching the "L" button to shift, and such.

xp pro 32 bit
Mastercam X4
Spacepilot
NO solidworks (I've read that causes alot of problems)

I know a friend has a similar issue.

for Mastercam the button mapping is saved in a user specific configuration file which is stored in %APPDATA%\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\profiles. Did you have any problems with your profile recently?
