Windows XP operating system.
Just got this 3DComm Spaceball 5000 from a guy, no software, downloaded the latest from the 3DComm site. Said that it installed but will not work. Just a switchology problem I'm sure. Using it on Catia V5 at home.
Any suggestions?

Which Spaceball 5000 did you purchase, Serial or USB?
Serial is a legacy so support on newer apps may not identify the device.
Which driver did you download?
Did you check and see if the demo work?
Catia is a natively supported application and should identify the device as long as the 3D driver is running.
