Non-Function Space-pilot PE

Yesterday I spilled coffee on my space-pilot. After cleaning it the best I could, it functioned fine the balance of the day and last night at home. This morning it will not start-up. I tried 3 USB ports, restarting software and computer, wiggling wires, loading the latest driver with no luck. Every now and then if flashes the blue LED ring. I'm assuming it is intermittently connecting then turning off.

Is there a cleaning procedure with dis-assembly instructions. It will absolutely suck if I can't get this up and running. :(

Ok, so it decided to comeback to life, somewhat.

First the side buttons started to function, then the model started drifting and finally the mouse react to movement and drift stopped.

Now it shut it self down again. Hmmmmmmmm, note to self never ever put coffee cup on same side as my 3d mouse.

Dear kklaver,

I'm afraid there are no disassembly procedures as their design is not of a repairable nature. You might try placing it in a low humidity, drying environment for a few days.

Sincerely,
Bryan

Thanks for all the help. Just an update for anyone who cares. Letting it dry out did not work. :(

I will be submitting a PO for a new "SpaceNavigator for Notebooks" today.
