I have been working with MDT since 2000 and puch this green button 1 miljon times. I also have a button configuration in your control panel that do mdt_toggle_shadwiref and it has never been a 2D wireframe.

Hmmm... Ok, then what type of wire frame is it and how do you tell?

Is there some plan to solve this problem. Trying MDT 2008 and 3.3.2 software and it's impossible to work when one can't us tilt in wireframe.

I think you may need to refer this to AutoCAD: The plug-in queries the view and the AutoCAD API claims its a 2D view. A work around may be to press the 3Dwireframe button in the visual styles.

Ok I understand but in MDT 2006 I have a butom on your exellent produkt that turn on and off wireframe. Now I need two buttom one to turn 3dwireframe on and one for shade. It's not possible to work like this so we are going to stay in MDT 2006 untill you have solved this.

In a previus version it was possible to use the spaceball when a valuebox was on the scren but not now.

I tried the 3.6.4 with MDT 2008 and same problem, is it working in MDT 2009?

Now I struggle to get the software for the Spaceball 5000 to work with MDT 2009 and xp -32 bit. On one computer, we have an old version labeled 3.6.11 release 6.6.4 Driver and 3.02 Firmware that works perfectly. On some computers, we have downloaded the new 3.7.12 6.7.11 and 3.11, which works disastrously bad. CPU goes to 100% for turning a simple cube, it hacks all the time when using the track ball.

How do I install the old software that works?

Hi PSM,

please check if your antivirus software is not blocking the driver (3dxsrv.exe).

I f this does not help check with the taskmanager if you can see which other program is interferring. (Add the columns "I/O Reads", "I/O Read Bytes", "I/O Writes", I/O Write Bytes") to the tab "Processes" and check where you can see a lot of activity when you use the 3D mouse).
