SGI Irix 6.5 support

Currently use Spaceball 5000 serial in custom application running on SGI Onyx 3200 with Irix 6.5 OS using generic driver. Is SpaceExplorer supported on this platform?

We dropped support for SGI / Irix some time ago. The last driver for Irix supports only the serial models of SpaceMouse Classic, SpaceMouse Plus/XT, SpaceBall 4000 FLX and SpaceBall 5000.

I have SGI/Irix 6.x and spaceball 4000 FLX. I installed the old spaceball motion control center (MCC). THe cube demo works, however I can not figure out how to use the spaceball 4000 with maya 6.0. Is there any way for me to get it to work with Maya 6.0? Thanks!

Hi charliecougar242,

I'm sorry to say that Irix is not a supported platform since a while. Thus Maya 6.0 isn't supported neither.
