I've been remapping my keys for photoshop to try and eliminate reaching for the keyboard as much as possible. That got me to thinking, It would be nice to do the same with Zbrush. Now I know 3dconnexion hates Zbrush, and Zbrush hates them back so I'm not talking about navigation, I'm talking about button configs.
So if I change my photoshop config to zbrush commands, and leave photoshop open in the background it works. But it only shows me the 1 config and the default config as options, can I have 2 different photoshop configs in the control panel that I can manually switch to?
Is there any way to make the keymappings work without having photoshop launched, photoshop is a ram hog. All I'm mapping are things like ctrl-d and such. If this is possible, is it possible to make the config detect Zbrush as a running process and to turn on then rather than always being on?
anyways, thoughts?

This is pretty complex for the current driver. You need to wait for the next version. If you want to tackle it with this driver, this thread gets into it.

any word on the status of a driver that will let me easily assign keyboard keys (or combinations) to the buttons that unsupported apps will recognize? I had it working for a minute, but then all my custom functions stopped working even though they are single keyboard keys. I can't get it working again. I tried to follow that thread you linked, it didn't work. I made another config that I was switching to manually that worked for about 10 minutes, now it's not working and I don't know why.
... this is frustrating.
I want to use Zbrush with my wacom and my Spacepilot Pro, I've already given up hope that you will ever fully support Zbrush navigation, but I can't even get the hotkeys to work, all that works is the modifiers which makes this a $400 ctrl-alt-shift pad as far as Zbrush goes.
