When can the new sofare work as well as the v1-2-1 for MDT? The new is terible to use.
This is my complaints.
1. Set rotation center is not default in the list for buttoms.
2 Set rotation center hangs the computer for 30 sec.
3 The overall speed on max is to slow.
4 The view is not floating when using spaceball 5000 or spacetraveler.
So I start to get feed up with this because we cant change to MDT2007 befor this problem is solved.

Hi PSM
Please try our new beta-software. If it doesn't solve your problem, then define a step by step procedure which should enable us to reproduce the problem.

Thanks for the avi. I can now see what is happening
That a view change causes the model to jump back to the previous position is under investigation.
The view that will not rotate is a 2Dwireframe view. To be able to rotate switch to 3Dwireframe. One way to tell the differnece is by the color of the UCS icon.PSM wrote:... so I can't rotate in wireframe.

I have update to 3.1.8 release and the problem with jumping view is solved. But if I puch this butom amdt_toggle_shadwiref that is 3dwirefame the view turn to a string model and the view freeze to 2D mode and makes it impossible to work.
Another problem is that when i zoom out the model disappear in the background to a dot very fast.

I am sorry I cannot follow what you are trying to say. Would you please give me a test scenario and explain what does not work.PSM wrote:But if I puch this butom amdt_toggle_shadwiref that is 3dwirefame the view turn to a string model and the view freeze to 2D mode and makes it impossible to work.
This will be fixed in v4.1.0PSM wrote:Another problem is that when i zoom out the model disappear in the background to a dot very fast.
1 create a cube like in my avi.
2 Pusch the most common buttom in MDT its a green cube (toggle shading/wireframea) or write mdt_toggle_shadwiref on the commad line so it shift from shade to wireframe like in my avi.
3 Try to use the spaceball. For me it would only moves as in a 2d drawing like it did in my avi file.

In your video the view switches to a 2D wireframe. You can tell by the skeleton ucs icon. If you were to switch to a 3D wireframe it will rotate. You can switch to a 3D wireframe by either pressing the 3Dwireframe button on the 'Visual styles' toolbar or by typing in "_vscurrent 3dwireframe".PSM wrote:Pusch the most common buttom in MDT its a green cube (toggle shading/wireframea) or write mdt_toggle_shadwiref on the commad line so it shift from shade to wireframe like in my avi.
