Craft director is not seeing the new beta driver.

Vista 64
SpacePilot(brand new)
Maya 2011 no detection
Maya 2010 no detection
Max 2011 no detection

I saw another thread and confirmed I have the dll's required by Craft.
Craft picks up my gamepad, wacom and keyboard.... no c3dx

Also... I am getting some strange bumping and changing of keyframes.
I think that was my use of Move Camera vs Move scene. just testing now.

Conclusions: I purchased this tool to record navigation etc.
I cannot currently record keyframes live without stutters or keys jumping.
also it cannot be detected by craft director tools.
I am being very disapointed at my glorified alt button.
Also the lag on switching the hot key banks is insane is this normal? Because its quicker for me to use my keyboard. Approx 1-2 sec.

Any advice would be great.

Also how to attach custom scipts to buttons, as it wont detect my custom file menu items sigh.

Thanks.

So, I managed to sort the custom hotkey thing.

You have to create a new hotkey, your hotkey can contain a script.

For example:

I created the hotkey alt+p.

The command is:

viewfit -f 0.5

This, When the Pilots panel is set to Focal Point, will work much smoother than the fit command.

This is a temp helper, as the new drivers should fix the Maya Rotation Pivot problems... I think when they fixed it for solidworks the wrecked it for us... dont know... just weird they had the same issue.

Still need things working with Craft Director Tools!
Still getting crazy jumps on my keyframes.... its a beast!

Had to write a bunch of scripts, now I can record as the same as navigating.
I Can record the rotation around objects and even change objects of interest, at a specified frame range without jumping action!

Realtime... so much better.
