Choppy motion behavior w/ Space Pilot

WinXP32 SP3, Intel DuoCore uProc, nVidia QuadroFX1700
SW2010
Inventor 2009
AutoCad 2009

Hi all,
I am experiencing choppy, slow motion w/ SW2010 and my Space Pilot. It works great w/ Inventor and Autocad. It even worked great w/ SW2008.
I downloaded and installed latest drivers for both Space Pilot and nVidia card.
Are there better system settings to get smooth motion in SW2010?

so.....as a test, I UNCHECKED 'Use software OpenGL'......
and now it works fantastic......go figure....I thot SW like openGL

I had the same problem, it was a kingston usb junk drive I had plugged into one of the ports.
SpacePilot does not like some devices. Even on a reboot. Weird.
