I am using a SpacePilot Pro on a newly installed PC. It's a Windows 7 64bits system and running Inventor 2010 & 2011. I installed the latest drivers from the 3D Connexion website.
Here's the problem:
When starting the Inventor software I can see the 3d Connexion loading, but somehow it doesn't load the Inventor Application into the config screen/device. Instead it show's 'Any Application' in the pulldown menu. This means the I can't use any of the buttons while working in Inventor.
I have reinstalled the 3D Connexion software, I tried the update wizard, rebooted serval times but not luck.
Here comes the really strange part, I got the device to work the day before after a lot of rebooting and update wizard usage, but today there's no luck, no m,atter what I do. The Orbit function works, but the buttonmapping just won't load.
Any idea's?

Re: SpacePilot Pro -Inventor Application doesn't load
Hello MaartenVer,
do you see the 3Dconnexion toolbar under "Add-Ins"?
Please activate "Write Log File" in the 3Donnexion Control Panel in the menu "Tools".
Stop Inventor and the driver. Then restart the driver and restart Inventor. Try to navigate with the 3D mouse.
Check in the 3Dconnexion Control Panel if you have an entry "Inventor" in the drop down list at the top.
Open %APPDATA%\3Dconnexion\3DxWare and see if there is a file 3DxWare.log. Please send this to the email address that I will send you in a PM
