I'm running WinXP 32bit SP2 with Solidworks 2010. I'm trying to install a SpaceBall 5000. I've installed the 3DxSoftware 3.7.22
When I open Solidworks it gives me an error saying that the mglsw20u.dll has a problem and didn't install correctly. When I try to add that Addin within Solidworks it doesn't work.
Any ideas, I can't be the first person to have this problem?

Hi pmarinello,
as far as I remember support for SolidWorks 2010 was available with 3DxSoftware 3.8 and higher. But this version is not availble for the SpaceBall 5000 USB which is a legacy device.

That's dissapointing I suppose I shouldn't have assumed it would be. Do you have a list of 3D mouse devices which are compatible with Solidworks 2010 and 2011?
