I currently use my SpaceNavigator for Navisworks 2010 and it works fine, but recently we've upgraded to Navisworks 2011 and my SpaceNavigator doesn't orbit or turn in 2011.
Please help.
Is there a new driver I am missing?
SpaceNavigator support Navisworks 2011

I have a SpaceNavigator and it works in Navisworks 2011, just not as well as it used to work in 2009. Moving through the model and looking around is jerkier and less smooth all around. I just downloaded the latest version of the 3Dconnexion software (released last week, it seems) so maybe there have been some improvements. The version I've been using was a few months old. (FYI I'm on Windows 7, 64-bit Core i7 with 8 gigs of RAM and an NVIDIA FX 580 video card)
Does anyone have any suggestions to improve performance in Navisworks?

SpaceNavigator support Navisworks 2011
Hello ksam -
Navisworks uses only the basic 3Dconnexion device driver. It is their software rather than 3Dconnexion software that controls the way the SpaceNavigator functions inside Navisworks 2011.
Since their software controls the navigation, their Technical Support handles any questions about how our devices work in their application. There is often a mode or view or option required to enable 3D devices.
In general, with any application, you can make sure that all axis directions are enabled for the SpaceNavigator by opening the 3Dconnexion Control Panel with your application as the Windows focus and choosing Options - Restore All Defaults. By restoring defaults,if an axis has been turned off for the application profile, you can return to the original function with all 6 axis directions available.
With this type of application that uses only our basic driver, it is only changes or updates in the application that can make a difference in the device performance.
