No error, no Aero ring of death, nothing.
Start > Programs > 3DConnexion > Drivers > Start Driver does nothing. There's no process, (it doesn't even appear for a milisecond or two and close), the LED's don't light up, no systray icon, the device cannot be used.
Yesterday after updating the drivers it was fine. No problems. Today it's just not working.
The Home program works, but clicking on any buttons doesn't do anything.
I've tried different ports (varying USB1.1 and USB2.0, USB3.0, SATA/USB Combo, none work), turning off Avast!, full uninstall of the drivers (according to FAQ, which includes hidden directories and registry entries) and reinstall. Nothing seems to be working...
Sad fox is sad. Help?

I understand that the drivers won't launch if the device isn't found. I did try searching hawdware devices for the device code of the Space Navigator, however it wasn't found under Human Interface Devices. I did eventually find it, uninstalled it, and plugged it into a different port, and it seems to be working now. Even after multiple boots.
I'll keep this in mind next time, and hope it helps anyone else with similar issues.
Thanks,
Zion ^^
