Outlook 2010 & SpacePilot PRO compatability

Hi,

This is my first post so be gentle with the "noob".

I am running Windows 7 64bit with Outlook 2010. I work daily in 3D Studio MAX 2011 which works just fine with the new SpacePilot PRO.

However it appears that the SpacePilot PRO does not "see" my Outlook 2010 at all. The LCD screen just states "Outlook not found or not running!" even though Outlook 2010 is running just fine. Therefore the screen is of little use other than looking up functionality keys etc sometimes. I feel really quite disappointed with this issue.

Is there a compatability problem? Is there no applet support for Outlook 2010 YET in 2011? If this is the case, does anyone know when Outlook 2010 will be supported?

Currently there is no applets created for Outlook 2010.
Ill pass your request for support to the programmers.

Hi robertkdjones,

Are you using a 32-bit or 64-bit build of Outlook 2010? You can check this information under File -> Help.

The Applets work for Outlook 2010 32-bit, but not 64-bit.

I have a desktop and a laptop on Windows 7 x64. The desktop is running Outlook 64 and the laptop is running Outlook 32. The Applet doesn't work on the desktop, but works fine on the laptop.

We're adding support for Outlook 64-bit in a upcoming release. Stay tuned.
