As far as I know you can't do this, if there is a way please let me know...
Would it be possible to enable a user to map one of the Navigator buttons to a custom on-screen menu, either a pop-up one or something fancier? My thinking is that when using Photoshop (if I ever get the Navigator to work with CS5!) I have one hand on the SN and the other using a wacom tablet.
The only use for the keyboard is to switch tools via hotkeys. If these hotkeys could be put into a menu which is activated by one of the SN buttons, you could select on-screen what you want. At the moment I can only assign 2 keystrokes as the SN has only 2 buttons, but a dropdown menu or something similar would solve this. If you could then select the menu item by either rotation or rolling of the SN even better!
At present I have it launching the on-screen windows Keyboard by assigning it to a button on my logitech keyboard which fires the app up but a customised menu would be far better.
Just a thought...
Andy.

What would be an estimated release date for that feature, if it's possible to tell?jwick wrote:The next major release has popup menus that you could customize, but currently you have to use the 2D mouse to pick a menu entry like any other popup menu. We could give some consideration to navigating those menus with the 3D mouse.

Did you get it to work with CS5 in the end?morph9266 wrote:...when using Photoshop (if I ever get the Navigator to work with CS5!)
