Autodesk Revit 2009/2010 or Navisworks 2009/2010

Post by jrschrader »

I'm in the process of purchasing one of your space navigator, and was wondering if support was working on something for Revit and or Navisworks. Doing a google search on the internet it said that Navisworks is supported, however, talking to techinical support it's only supported through Jet-Stream 5.4 which is 3/4 years prior(before they were bought by Autodesk)... can you advise as this is the main software apps I will be using along with Synchro, 3Ds Max, and Blender

any help would be great.

thanks

As posted in one of the links regarding Revit:

Unfortunately, it does not. 3Dconnexion is unable to build a plug-in as the current API for Revit does not allow us to change the views in order to provide navigation with our devices. We have asked Autodesk for help, and we are also asking customers to please send requests to Autodesk so that they become increasingly aware of the demand.
