SpaceExplorer lags in Autodesk Inventor 2012

SpaceExplorer lags in Autodesk Inventor 2012.
It worked well in Autodesk Inventor 2011.
The lagging is of a degree that the SpaceExplorer can not be used at all.
I have installed the latest drivers for the SpaceExplorer but it made no difference.

Anyone else having the same problem and having a solution?

OS:
Windows XP Pro 32-bit
Servicepack 3

Hardware:
Pentium4 3.2 GHz
3GB RAM
Nvidia Quadro FX 540

Hello _HG_,

which antivirus software do you have installed? Did you check if you created an exception for the driver process (3dxsrv)? Maybe the antivirus software is shortly blocking?

You mention the latest driver ... are you aware that we released a new driver just recently? It is version 3.13.1.

Do you now have just Inventor 2012 only or can you still compare with version 2011?

The antivirus is Trend Micro OfficeScan. The same as when I used previous versions of Inventor (2011, 2010, 2009 and 2008). I don't know of any exceptions.
It is the 3.13.1 driver.
Inventor 2012 is the only version we have now.

are you using any other addins or tools with Inventor?

Can you see any other difference to the previous installation besides that Inventor is version 2012? (Windows SP for example?)

Did you check if your driver for the graphics card is the most recent one?

All Windows Service Packs are installed.

Can you disable this addin? Just to check if the lag is still there or if it has something to do with it.

Yes, it really made all the difference. The lagging disappeared now.
I will contact the NTI CAD-center about it.
