Spaceexplorer on Catia - Losing configuration

Hi,

I'm currently using CATIA V5 R20 with my brand new 3d connexion mouse. Each time I close CATIA my shortcut are lost.

I'm currently using the lastest driver on 3dconnexion.com on Win7 x64.

Did somebody had the same trouble as me ?

do you mean the button mapping on the buttons of the 3D mouse when saying "shortcuts"?

You have to use the internal button mapping editor from Catia. It should show up when you press the PANEL button on the SpaceExplorer. Please let us now if you are using this one doing the mapping otherwise.

When you install the 3d connexion software (3DxWare) you're able to set/configure the button on the space mouse. Such as changing view to FRONT, LEFT, RIGHT, ... by pressing a button. On these same application I'm able to set the action when I press the button:

Esc-
alt-
Shift-
Ctrl-
...

But, each time I open CATIA I need to reconfigure all the mouse because the configuration are lost. I tried to select a different application in the menu but no one seems to restore my previous config.

When I setup all, I'm clicking on the "option" button (in the 3DxWare software) and Save As... my config. When I close and reopen CATIA, my configuration had still desaper. (Even if I'm on the lastest config I'd save)

Yes, that's exactly what I meant. You should not use the 3Dconnexion Control Panel to map your buttons, but the Catia panel "Button Customization".

What driver version are you using?
