Problem with 3Dconnexion Collage 1.3.0

Hello all,

3DxSoftware64_v3-14-0_r1145.exe was installed on Windows 7 64bit (German). Unfortunately I cannot launch the Collage application.

Here is the information from the event viewer:

I've tried to install different VC+ redist packages (2008 x86/x64 and 2005) without any success. Also .Net 4.0 is installed on this PC.

Can somebody help me with this issue?

Hi ukrserg,

in the meantime we released an update for 3DxSoftware 3.14. Could you please uninstall the version you have now and install the very latest?

Please let me know if the problem exist with that version, too.

Hello ukrserg,

go to our download page (www.3Dconnexion.com -> Service -> Download Drivers) and select your device and operating system and press "Search". At the bottom of the page you will get a possibility to download the installation package for your driver.

Hi ukrserg,

the 3DxCollage needs "Direct3D Acceleration". To check for Direct3D acceleration support, go to Start menu, select Run and
launch the "dxdiag" tool. On the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, go to the "Display" and check the "Direct3D Acceleration" field in the "DirectX Features" control group.

If the setting is not enabled you might have to update the graphic card driver ...
