Camera mode in Revit and Showcase
Is there a camera mode in Revit or in Showcase? Thanks!
Bobby Jones
If this doesnt help i would suggest contacting Autodesk
I found this info on there website Wiki
Make sure you have the Navigatioon bar with 3D Mouse support enabled.
This adds the 3D button icon (Looks like the puck)in the nav bar.
Click the puck to get different options to choose from.
Walk Mode:
Simulates walking through a model. The view of the model is moved in the opposite direction of the controller cap. The orientation and height of the current view is maintained. (This option is disabled in orthographic views, such as the default 3D view.)
I believe this is what Autodesk added to be used as Camera mode.
Fly Mode:
Simulates flying through a model. The view of the model is moved in the opposite direction of the controller cap. The orientation and height of the current view is not maintained. (This option is disabled in orthographic views, such as the default 3D view.)

Thanks Fred,
That put me on track to find the Look tool in Showcase which allows rotation about the camera instead of an object. I haven't found a way to rotate about the camera with my SpacePilot yet, but I'm hopeful
I did start a post on their Showcase forum and I'll send a request directly to adesk as well.
