Hello, I use a Space Navigator on Solidworks 2011.
When I'm in 2d sketch mode, I want it to be normal to my screen (simply 2d). But it's not when I'm using my 3d mouse. It changes an angle all the time.
you can switch off the rotation (left button - menu item "Rotations"). Or if you need the roll movement you can open the 3Dconnexion properties and uncheck in the "Advanced Settings" tab the "Tilt" and "Spin" movements.
you can map "Rotations" to one of the buttons of the 3D mouse. In the Button Mapping window within SolidWorks you find in the list with the categories "3DxWare Functions". Open this hammer (doubleclick) and you will find "Rotations" listed. Drag + drop this to one of the buttons. That's it

I don't want to switch off SPIN, TILT and ROLL, because I need it in 3D mode.
I hope you will understand what I mean
Hi Projectds,
Map the "Rotations" option to one of your side buttons as UtaSH has mentioned. I have mapped this option to my "left Button" as I use the right for "Ctrl".
You can simply toggle on/off all the "rotations" ( Spin,Tilt & Roll ) with a single click which keeps the working plane as you put it in 2d mode ( pan, zoom ) then a simple click of the left button to return to 3d as per normal.
