Command cancelation/interruption in AUTOCAD 2011

Post by mendezarcediego »

Hi I'm new

This is my issue: Every time I use SpaceExplorer in Autocad Architecture 2011 it cancels any active command, it all shows in the command line, the Autocad cursor changes back to the windows default view every time I touch the 3d knob in any direction.

All of my software is up to date: 3dx, Autocad and Windows 7x64; they all have the latest hotfixes and service packs. I tried reinstalling 3dx and Autocad setting the default configuration for each and I also played with the 3dx profiles and and the Autocad-3dmouse configuration.

I believe this is an known issue in AutoCAD 2011 and newer. Only Autodesk can fix this bug.

Are you using the "2D wireframe" visual style? If so, try another style and see if the commands still get cancelled.

command interruption in AUTOCAD 2011/2012

I installed Aucad Architecture 2012 and same freaking issue. The only way to solve it "half way" (so not a real solution) is to change the visual style to other than 2d wireframe, but when doing so, whatever object you are manipulating seems to freeze on the screen and doesn't refresh untill you move the mouse (normal one), basically the manipulated object doesn't zoom, pan, etc, with the rest of the objects in the screen.

I posted the issue in the Autodesk Forum too:
